Airsoft weapons often resembles real firearms, but the replicas shoot small plastic 6mm BBs. In its nature, airsoft is similar to first-person shooting video games, and it allows experiencing realistic battle and tactical scenario gameplay.
The Competitive Team Sport of Airsoft
In Airsoft, participants shoot opponents with spherical plastic projectiles referred to as airsoft bb’s or pellets.
Airsoft pellets do not typically mark their target. The game relies heavily on an honor system in which the person who has been hit is responsible for calling themselves out. Airsoft guns are typically magazine-fed, adding to their realism, and are powered by either batteries, some for of compressed air, or manually by cocking them back.
Gameplay varies in style and composition, but includes things such as capture the flag, VIP missions, attack & defend, securing an objective, etc. The game play is very similar to paintball with a little more military simulation added. Combat situations during play may involve the use of military tactics to achieve objectives set in each game.
There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.
